![]() He is in a 5.5 gallon heated tank and all water parameters are normal. It was just so unexpected as all my other bettas just gobble anything! I have been able to continue with his feeding regime as he is only very small and I want him to be healthy. very adorable but I dont know if this is really nutritious for him? Believe me I have been very patient with trying pellets and flakes but he just looks at them. ![]() He comes over to get one worm at a time on the end of my tweezers. ![]() Naturally I am a bit worried, as it is a bit tricky to feed although he has made progress with his eating and being social with me. I have also tried frozen brine shrimp, daphnia and bloodworms which I know bettas also love. So I went to get these live worms which of course he loves, but the problem is this is the only thing he will eat. They are kind of creepy and squirm around alot too. I rang the pet shop where I got him from the day after I got him and they said that there bettas were fed 'Tubifex' worms (also known as Blackworms) I think. I have tried him with pellets and flakes every day since I got him but he just refuses to the point where I have to remove uneaten food so as not to contaminate the water. But not my new little boy who I have called Worm. Like just drop the pellets or flakes in and the fish come straight over and eat them. When I got my him, I thought it would be as simple as it was with my others when it came to his eating. I have two at the moment and they have been my favourite pet over the past few years. I got my fourth Betta just over two weeks ago.
